Swing Lam completed his education at the HKBU Academy of Visual Arts, obtained a master’s degree in Intercultural Studies from CUHK.

Swing span a wide range of disciplines on creation, across different medias in visual art, novel and prose writing, graphic design, happenings, painting, and illustration. Through his artwork, Swing delves into various subjects, including Hong Kong Pop culture, history, urban landscape, and transportation. He was invited as an artist/ researcher in residence in Christiania(Denmark) and Namsong Art Museum(Korea), and as a guest speaker for MaD Asia, M+ etc.

Actively engaged in mass media, he is a illustration and prose columnist for Sunday Ming Pao(明報 星期日生活). Swing is also a creative member of  YouTube channel “懷疑人生就去散步” (When in doubt, Take a walk).  He is recognized for his research on wandering, mobility and transportation spotting culture.
