Department of Art and Design invited Mr KS Wong, Secretary for the Environment, to visit our department on May 6, 2022, Friday at 4-6 pm to look at the academic work by our students and staff related to the topic of the environment from the Academic Year 2021-22 Semester 2.
The theme for the Art and Design Studio 2 was specifically on the issue of waste and recycling for the environment, asking students to design products to handle domestic waste, a vending machine to collect disposable masks, and a public artwork with recycled masks. There will also be presentations on the Art and Design Studio 1 final project on city branding and hope for the post-pandemic city, as well as graduating these projects from the Cultural and Creative Industries programme.
Insightful exchange and sharing with AAD staffs and students on our students’ work on sustainable design!
