Museums and cultural centres are the essential platforms for the exchange, encounter and activity of people and art. They are places to connect the past with the future, destinations for inspiration, discovery, and enjoyment, the architecture of which plays a significant role in shaping and cultivating the social and creative lives of the people in the city. In this talk, Edman will be sharing the design journey of Tai Kwun and M+, explaining the factors which had driven the design development and the success of these two very different yet equally important art and cultural destinations for the people of Hong Kong and beyond.
